Subaru Car Payment Relief

Lenders and Auto Loan Relief Programs

At Farrish Subaru, we know that many of our customers are still dealing with the financial ramifications of the COVID-19 pandemic. Whether your finances have been devastated by expensive medical bills, job loss, or other issues, we want to help you continue to make your auto loan payments and to remain in the Subaru that you love driving. Many of our customers have financed their vehicles through Subaru Motors Finance, a subsidiary of Chase Auto. Your lender may offer short-term financial relief so that you can more easily get caught up on your payments.

Subaru Motors Finance

The loan relief offered by Subaru Motors Finance is available on a case-by-case basis. The lender will review your specific request and situation before determining if you qualify for loan relief and what type of loan relief it will offer. One common type of relief that could be offered to you is a loan payment deferment.

End of Lease Options

Are you searching for financial relief or flexible end-of-lease options for your Subaru lease? Many of our customers take advantage of the convenience that a lease provides to transition seamlessly into their next lease on a new Subaru, but this is not ideal for all of our customers. Whether you prefer to extend your lease for a short period or you want to finance a lease buyout by applying for a new loan, we are happy to help you explore the options that could be offered to you.

Loan Deferment FAQs

What is a Subaru Loan Deferment?

Many of our customers who are struggling financially may be offered a loan deferment through their lender. A deferment enables you to skip the next few payments without penalty. Only payments during the approved deferment period may be missed, and these payments will be made up at the end of the loan. In addition, the loan’s term will be extended for several months by the length of the deferment period. Be aware that interest charges will still accrue during an approved deferment period.

How Will a Subaru Loan Deferment Impact My Credit Score?

As long as the lender has agreed to the loan deferment, your credit scores will not be negatively impacted by the deferred payments. However, late payments and skipped payments outside of the approved deferment period could be detrimental to your credit rating.

How Do I Request a Subaru Loan Deferment?

The borrower should request a loan deferment and other types of financial relief. You will need to communicate directly with the lender to explore the financial options available. If you are approved for relief, you will receive the details about the specific terms of the relief plan available to you.
