The Solterra can be charged using either a 120-volt or a 240-volt charger. The 120-volt charger is included with your purchase, while the 240-volt charger, which requires professional installation, is available for an additional cost.
How do you charge the Subaru Solterra away from home?
The Solterra boasts a range of 220 miles on a full charge, so overnight charging at home is often sufficient. However, when you need to charge on the go, you can access over 38,000 public charging stations equipped with 240-volt chargers. You can achieve up to an 80% charge in less than an hour using a DC fast charger.
Are there incentives to buy an EV?
Yes, there are incentives available for EV buyers. The federal government offers a $7,500 tax incentive. Additionally, some local areas and select employers may provide other tax credits and financial incentives.
