Serving Fairfax, VA
The two smallest crossover SUVs available in the 2024 Subaru lineup are the Crosstrek and the Forester. Both models live up to Subaru's stellar reputation for utility, performance, and style, but their differences may make one option better suited to your needs and intentions. Our Farrish Subaru associates are standing by to assist with your deep review of the 2024 Crosstrek and the 2024 Forester.
Performance
The 2024 Subaru Crosstrek is a subcompact crossover with two powertrains and five trim levels. The base and Premium trim levels have a 152-horsepower, four-cylinder, 2.0-liter engine. The remaining trims come with an 182-horsepower, four-cylinder, 2.5-liter engine. These systems mate with all-wheel drive and a continuously variable transmission. This same four-cylinder, 182-horsepower system, CVT, and all-wheel drive are in all of the 2024 Forester's trim levels.
Appearance
The Crosstrek has a sculpted, sleek look with modern touches. You will find sharp descents across the roof and hood while the nose is rounded. The sides have thick molding with stronger definition around the wheel wells, and the molding is more pronounced on the nose underneath the edgy headlights. The grille sports a wide-spaced, innovative mesh design. The 2024 Forester, on the other hand, shows off smooth sides, modest molding, and taller, flatter surfaces through its profile. The geometric LED headlights have a tail-like design that connects inward to the grille. The grille tapers downward, and the angled air intakes hold rectangular fog lamps.
Features
The Subaru Crosstrek is well-equipped with standard or available features like a sunroof, a Harman Kardon sound system, a blind-spot warning, evasive steering assistance, heated front seats, leather upholstery, a heated windshield, wireless Android Auto, wireless Apple CarPlay, Starlink connected services, USB ports, an 11.6-inch touch display screen, a push-button ignition, and others. The Forester has these and other features, including a power liftgate, heated rear seats, a navigation system, memory settings for the driver's seat, a driver monitoring system, and a few additional features.
