The first three of the five trim levels are outfitted with a four-cylinder, 2.5-liter engine that delivers 182 horsepower to you. The other trims have a turbocharged variant of this engine that produces 260 horsepower. All Legacy trims feature all-wheel drive and an auto CVT. The Sport trim is the only trim level with a sport-tuned suspension.

Appearance

The 2023 and 2024 Subaru Legacy sedans are identically styled. This four-door model expresses its character through its creased accents on the sides and hood and its front-to-rear flow. The nose is sporty with C-shaped air intake ports below angled, eye-catching headlights. These headlights are linked by a curved chrome bar that cuts through the top of the hexagon-like grille. The Legacy's exterior features could include 17-inch alloy wheels or larger, adaptive LED headlights, heated and power-folding side mirrors, and LED fog lights.

Features

The Legacy is comparably equipped for the 2023 and 2024 model years, but there are extensive differences on a trim-by-trim basis. Base-level features are a four-speaker sound system, dual 7-inch display screens, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, satellite radio, USB ports, forward collision mitigation, lane keeping, adaptive cruise control, and a lane departure alert. Higher trims may be outfitted with wireless phone integration, additional USB ports, an 11.6-inch infotainment system screen, heated front and rear seats, additional safety technologies, a sunroof, a navigation system, a Harman Kardon audio system with 12 speakers, leather upholstery and several more features.
